1. About us
SquishyToys.ca ("we", "us", "our") is an online store based in Ontario, Canada. These Terms of Service apply to your use of squishytoys.ca and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to place an order, or have a parent or guardian place it for you.

3. Products and safety
Our squishies are toys for squeezing. They are not food and must never be put in the mouth or eaten. They are not suitable for children under 3 because of small parts, and we recommend adult supervision for children aged 3–6. Never microwave, heat or freeze a squishy, as heated contents can cause serious burns. If a squishy splits or tears, throw it away. Colours, sizes and textures may vary slightly from product photos.

4. Prices and payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and don't include applicable taxes, which are added at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but the price you pay is the one shown when you place your order. Payment is taken at checkout through our secure payment provider.

5. Orders and cancellations
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel after you've paid, we'll refund you in full. To cancel your own order, email us as soon as possible. We can cancel any order that hasn't shipped yet.

6. Shipping
We ship within Canada. Delivery times, costs and free-shipping thresholds are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery.

7. Returns and refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Accuracy of information
We try to keep product descriptions, images and prices accurate, but errors can happen. We may correct errors and update information at any time without notice, including after an order has been placed.

9. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, photos, graphics and logos, belongs to SquishyToys.ca or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Reviews and messages
If you send us a review, photo or comment, you confirm that it's yours to share, and you allow us to use it on our site and social media. Content must not be unlawful, offensive or misleading.

11. Prohibited uses
You may not use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or collect data, or to place fraudulent orders.

12. Third-party links and services
Our site may link to or use third-party services, such as payment processors and shipping carriers. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

13. Warranty and liability
Products are provided as described, and you keep all rights you have under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws, which these terms don't limit. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

14. Indemnity
You agree to cover any claims or losses that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our products or site.

15. Privacy
Our use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the date they're posted on this page.
